Bulgasari Impromptu Session began in February 2003 at Rush in Sinchon, after a suggestion from Japanese musician Satoyuki. It has since become one of Korea's key platforms for avant-garde, improvised, and experimental art, presenting music, dance, and performance while nurturing younger experimental artists through more than 300 events.

Jo Seongil spent fourteen years, beginning in 1998, as a central vocalist in the minjung music group Kkotdaji and wrote songs such as "Hope," "Whistle," and "Fighter." After going solo in 2012, he settled in Seogwipo, Jeju, and has continued to release records that offer comfort in the midst of heavy realities.

Yeoul performs with Wongirl in the folk duo Leaves while also working as a solo singer-songwriter. With acoustic guitar and a clear voice, she sings lyrically about peace through small everyday moments, and she also has a deep connection to the Gangjeong peace community, having joined the first camp as part of the design staff.

A singer-songwriter and forest interpreter building a unique musical world. She creates music around the theme of "connection" found in nature, especially forests. Based on folk and blended with electronic and ambient, she delivers a lyrical yet plaintive mood, noted for a distinctive tone reminiscent of a bluish dawn sky and mist.
